Though there is no much clinical evidence the condition is perceived to result from hormonal changes. It is also prevalent among males who are androgen deficient and those receiving estrogen therapies for prostrate cancer. However, the problem is more prevalent in women than in men. Both home remedies and clinical operations are available for use in treatment for cellulite.

There are various remedies which are available for treatment of cellulite. Among them is application of cellulite creams which are applied to the affected regions. These creams contain aminophylline which is a drug prescribed for treatment of asthma. These creams are defined to dissolve the fats and hence leave the skin smooth. This is by narrowing the blood vessels and draining water from the skin. However, the chemicals provided in these creams may be allergic to certain skin types and therefore requires caution while using them. Observing the diet and avoiding junk foods which result in fat accumulation are used as part of treatment as well as regular exercising.

Dry brushing is also used as a way of treatment for cellulite. Though the name sounds harsh, it is one of the best applications for this purpose. It is an exfoliation process which is ideal for removal of dead skin cells which results in better circulation of blood and improves the smoothness of the skin. The process is an ancient one where it was used in Greece to improve beauty.

How to Get Rid Of Cellulite Fast?

This process of treatment for cellulite requires a soft brush which will not scar the skin or cause irritation. However, the brush needs not to be too soft as this will not remove the dead cells effectively. The brush is run over the skin in a sweeping motion and not in circular motions. Dry brushing for the legs can star at the ankles moving up. The reason for this precaution is because when circular motion is applied it will normally result in overstimulation of the skin and may cause irritation.

After the application is done it is important to rinse the skin or take a shower. This should be done using a mild soap and it’s essential in removing any dead cells that surface on the skin during brushing as a treatment for cellulite. After the skin is thoroughly cleaned it is important to apply a moisturizer to ensure the skin remains soft and flesh. The process can be undertaken once or twice daily for better results.
