Cellulite Reduction Treatment

As we get older cellulite seems to be a permanent “extra organ” on the outside of our bodies. Fat accumulation in different parts of the body is definitely an annoying problem for most people. Fatty deposits under the skin only become a problem when we move into our twenties. One of the most common ways to get rid of cellulite is through reduction treatment.

Fat deposits in our thighs, stomachs, and buttocks is there from childhood although it gets counterbalanced by how physically active we are as a child. Where cellulite becomes a problem is when we start working and aren’t flexing muscles as often. The process of fat accumulation under the skin is started and we begin to slowly realize that this little enemy is coming together to attack. While we know that a proper diet and exercise works to get rid of these fat deposits, we are unable to stick to these routines due to our jobs and use that as an excuse. When things get out of hand we begin to lose our gorgeous shape as well as develop severe, sometimes fatal, health issues. Once this happens, we will constantly be living under a life completely ruled by medicine and doctors.

Instead of allowing cellulite to rule our lives through the problems it causes, it can easily be gone with cellulite reduction treatment. Most fitness centers now have facilities that specialize in getting rid of these fat deposits. Technology used as well as treatment methods vary from one center to another although all operate under the same basic principle: increasing the flow of energy in fat cells which will make it burn off.

There are several different types of cellulite reduction treatments to tackle burning off fatty deposits throughout various parts of our body. Aside from massages and technology treatments, other types include creams, endermology, massages, and electrical muscle stimulators. Creams such as Retinoids, Xanthines, and Alpha hydroxyl acids are the best ingredients for cellulite creams to help stimulate fat metabolism. Since these types of ingredients are mostly used for thickening the skin and helping blood circulate to the surface of the skin these creams are now being a highly recommended treatment for cellulite.

Endermology gets rid of that tissue barrier that is the cause of cellulite and fat cell build-up. It improves skin texture and restores blood circulation. Fat and waste are removed from between each fat cell and it typically takes four to five treatment sessions for results to be noticeable. Massages are another way treatment method for getting rid of cellulite. It loosens connective tissue preventing it from sticking to underlying structures and allowing it to move freely. When connective tissue is loose, it stimulates the blood vessels which will increase how much nutrition tissues will receive. Too much massaging could cause permanent blood vessel damage since those areas that have cellulite will be much more sensitive.

Another type of treatment includes electrical muscle stimulators or EMS. An EMS is a device that is only given through a prescription from your doctor and is used to treat neuromuscular problems in the area of physical therapy. Many health spas have used these devices for weight loss, non-surgical face lifts, girth reduction, and cellulite reduction.

If you want to get rid of unwanted fat cell build-up on your body, it is best to contact your doctor to find out what type of cellulite reduction treatment is best for you.
